Nature of the service
- Scholar Jurist provides legal research, moot support, citation review, and academic research assistance. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal representation or advice, and do not appear or file on any client’s behalf.
- Deliverables are research aids — memos, memorials, digests, and reviews — intended to support, not replace, a client’s own judgment and professional or institutional obligations.
Quotes and scope
- Every matter receives a scoped quote before work begins. Work starts only after the quote is approved.
- If scope changes materially during a matter, we will flag it and agree any change in price or timeline before continuing.
Revisions
- Each tier includes a defined number of revision rounds, set out at the time of quoting.
- Revisions address the original brief; requests that expand scope may be quoted as additional work.
Use of deliverables
- You may use, adapt, and submit delivered research as part of your own work, subject to your institution’s or competition’s rules on permissible assistance.
- You remain solely responsible for ensuring your use of any deliverable complies with academic-integrity, competition, or professional-conduct requirements that apply to you.
Confidentiality
- Matter material is treated as confidential and is not shared or published without permission.
- Sample work shown on this site is either fully anonymised or entirely illustrative.
Limitation of liability
- Research is prepared with care and reviewed before delivery, but is provided without warranty as to outcome in any proceeding, submission, or publication.
- Scholar Jurist is not liable for decisions made in reliance on research beyond the fees paid for the relevant matter.
Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
